Sumesh, Kamal, Mohit storm into quarters of Sr Snooker

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Oct 29: Top seed Sumesh Turki, Mohit and Kamal Rohmetra were the three cueists have booked their place in the quarterfinals of the senior snooker in the Jammu District championship.

Kamal got walkover Rahul Gupta and moved into the quarter-finals.

Earlier, Rahul also got walkover Sohail Khalid.

Sumesh Turki registered an easy 3-0 frames victory over Vidit.

The final score of the match was 58-11, 76-39 &64-30.

Mohit routed Neeraj by 33-41, 57-33, 40-29 and 63-18.

However, in pre-quarterfinals Vidit has trounced Atul Tandon nu 45-20, 52-17, 32-52, 55-44.

Mohit Mahajan defeated Abhishek 51-17, 16-40, 51-39 and 75-42.

The tournament is being hosted by J&K Billiards & Snooker Association under the auspicious of J&K State Sports Council.
