SVO cases on Internet

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Aug 14: As part of state government's commitment to make functioning of various departments transparent, the State Vigilance Organisation (SVO) had put brief particulars of all FIR cases registered from Jan 2005 on its website www.jkvigilance.nic.in .

Official handout said that the latest status of each case and individuals under investigation is displayed on the site.

The progress of FIR cases will be updated at the end of each month.

The data is being compiled to include particulars of cases registered prior to Jan 2005 also on the site.

SVO website already contains information on RTI, action taken on requests under RTI, press releases, history and details about the organisation etc.
