Two arrested with 15 kg RDX
KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jan 21: Security forces claimed to have arrested two militant sympathizers and recovered 15 kilograms of explosives (RDX) from the Mahore area of Reasi district today.
Defence spokesman here said that based on intelligence inputs two militant sympathizers were apprehended by the security forces from the forest area of Mahore in the wee hours today.
They were identified as Iqbal of Pissawali and Abdul Ghani Choupan of Pari.
In another operation, based on intelligence inputs, a column of Rashtriya Rifles (RR) recovered a cache of explosives from the forest area of Mahore this morning.
The recovery included 15 kilograms of explosives (probably RDX), 63 rounds of AK, two grenades, six detonators, one Radio Set (ICIN) fitted with battery and some miscellaneous stores.
It was wrapped in a rucksack and was hidden beneath a big boulder, spokesman added.
Reports said that some UBGL and grenades were recovered by the security forces from Gambhir Moglian area of Rajouri district today.
