Use crisis to revive Indian Airlines & Air India
Aviation industry may be in crisis world over, but situation in India is not as hopeless as was feared initially.
For instance unlike a fall of 20 per cent in traffic world over, the fall in traffic in India particularly in the domestic sector is only marginal that is around five per cent.
Agreed even this spells trouble, but it is certainly manageable.
The fall is essentially due to decline in the number of foreign tourists visiting India.
Indications that our airline business is not going for a fall are clear and there is a good chance that the airlines will be able to overcome the crisis in very near future.
