Vested interests trying to sabotage polls: Bhim
KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Sep 16: Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party (JKNPP) has demanded immediate transfer of the officers of Police and Civil administration who were adjusted by the erstwhile congress PDP calition.
In a press conference, he has alleged that these officers have a close ....
with congress and PDP leaders and have been given key postings for rigging in the forthcoming assembly elections.
Calling upon Governor N.N.
Vohra to act fast, Bhim said that continuity of these officers at their present place of postings would mean facilitating them to rig the elections.
Bhim today said people in Kashmir were prepared for the forthcoming assembly elections but political parties with vested interests were attempting to disrupt the poll process.
"The Delhi leadership, may it be the Congress or BJP have not cared to find the genesis of the problem in Jammu and Kashmir but the trio of the PDP-NC and Congress leadership are taking people of state on ride and betraying them," Bhim said at a press conference here.
However, referring to JKPCC president and Union Minister Saifuddin Soz's remarks that the Congress will form the next government in Jammu and Kashmir, the Panthers Party chief held the claim hollow and said JKNPP will surely win 25 seats in Jammu and 13 in Kashmir.
"The people in the Valley are ready to go to polls but the Kashmir-centric leadership are in a mood to defer the democratic process," alleged Bhim suggesting the idea of equable representation for all the three regions of the state to end discrimination and delimitation is the only way out to resolve the issue."
