Workshop on environmental orientation

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Nov 24: Indian Environmental Society's Jammu branch organized a one day workshop on "Environmental Orientation to School Education" at Universal High School Rehari in which 70 students participated.

Debate and Painting competitions were conducted during the workshop on the topic 'Water'.

Gagandeep and Karan of the host school bagged 1st and 2nd place while Charanpreet Kour of Guru Kalgidhar Public School was adjudged as 3rd and were awarded with mementoes by the Society.

Principal of the Universal School was chief guest on the occasion while Pawan Kumar of the Indian Environment Society presented environmental books to the school library.
