Workshop on Solid Waste Management in Kathua
KT NEWS SERVICE KATHUA, Feb 26 : Government Degree College for Women, Kathua in collaboration with World Wide Fund (WWF) India has organized a seminar on Solid Waste Management today Minister for Youth Services and Sports Babu Singh was the chief Guest on the occasion.

Sharma, Director WWF, India C.M.
Seth, educationists, Prominent citizens, College professors, students and representatives of various NGOs were present on the occasion.
As many as seven students from different educational institutions took part in the seminar and read out their writings on the topic which kept the audience spellbound and suggested different ways for solid waste management.
Seema Sharma bagged first position in the seminar while Tajwinder kour and Romi Sharma adjudged 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Speaking on the occasion, Babu Singh apprised that Rs.1.46 lakh Solid waste management project has been sanctioned by Government of India for Kathua.
He impressed upon all the citizens to keep their surroundings neat and clean.
