World Health conference in Dec

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Nov 24: Shabir Rather Ahmed of Iqra Foundation has been invited in the 36th union world conference on health which is being organised by International Union against Tuberculosis and Lung disease in the month of December.

He has been invited to represent Iqra foundation in the conference under the theme 'Scaling up and down and sustaining effective tuberculosis, HIV and Asthma prevention and control.

In a statement issued here today, Rather said that the conference will emphasize the best knowledge available to discuss the relevant issues for achieving goal of better lung health for all.

Leeran villagers urge restoration of water supply KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Nov 24: People of village Leeran have urged the PHE Department, Rajouri not to disconnect the PHE line supplying water to many villages of district Rajouri.

The villagers said that water supplying line was laid down six years earlier by the PHE department and is catering the needs of more than 4000 people of the different villages.

They also appealed the PHE authorities to take action against the erring officials for giving order for disconnecting the pipeline.
