KATHMANDU, Dec 14, (UNI): At least ten people were killed and morethree dozen injured in a bus accident near Pokhara, 200 km westof Nepalese capital Kathmandu, today morning.
The accident occured when the bus plying from Kaskikot to Pokhara, the second biggest city of Nepal, skidded off the hillyroad and fell down nearly 200 mt, local media quoted police assaying.
The deceased were yet to be identified.
Among the injured24 were undergoing treatment at the Western Zonal Hospital while 12 at the Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara.
Others with minor injuries were discharged after treatment.
The real cause of the accident was yet to be ascertained butlocal media said the bus was overcrowded with people.
