3 govt employees suspended

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Nov 24: For dereliction of duties, the state government has placed under suspension two government officials and an orderly of Darbar Move offices.

Suspended officials and orderly have been identified as Assistant Director Employment Akram Ullah Tak, Junior Employment Officer Bashir Ahmed Tantray and orderly Ghulam Mohammed Parray.

The suspension order was issued here today by Financial Commissioner, Labour and Employment Department, Amit Kushari.

Late resumption of duties in Jammu after Darbar Move is a common malady among the moving employees, said sources, adding the civil secretariate opened here on November 7 and the government had sanctioned two days special casual leave for the employees of Kashmir division on November 7 and 8.

Sources said, all the employees had to join their duties in Jammu on November 9 unless General Administration Department sanctioned special casual leave for them.

However, above mentioned officials and the orderly did not turn up on the due date, although no leave was sanctioned in their favour by GAD, added sources.

Sources further said, Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad took serious view of the lapse and subsequently all the three have been placed under suspension.
