48 samples of fertilizers, pesticides lifted KT NEWS SERVICE UDHAMPUR, Feb 25: Following complaints of adulteration, enforcement team of Agriculture Department today lifted 48 samples of fertilizers, pesticides and seeds from different outlets in Reasi and Pouni blocks.
Reports said, headed by Enforcement Inspector Balbir Singh Bhatyal, the team lifted 40 samples of fertilizers, four of pesticides and four of seeds sending them to different laboratories.
The enforcement team visited the outlets of Chajju Ram Fertilisers Tikri, Mohammed Yousuf at Panthal, Bharati General Store Katra, Kamal Kishore Fertilisers Talwara, Navin Kumar Fertilisers Khera Lehar, Romesh Chander Fertilisers Bharakh, Malik Agro Chemicals Reasi and others.
The team warned all the dealers not to sell sub-standard and contaminated seeds, fertilizers and pesticides to the farmers.
