Army organises medical camp

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Mar 17 :A medical camp was organized by 61 Rashtriya Rifles under the aegis of Uniform Force in the village of Batoi today.

Batoi, a remote village located 11 kms from Mahore town, is devoid of even basic medical facilities in the area.

People generally have to travel long distances on foot to Mahore and Dharmari to receive elementary medical aid.

The camp was inaugurated by local Numberdar of Batoi Village.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by large number of civil dignitaries.

More than 1000 locals turned up for treatment/medical counseling.

The Army employed a team of medical officials and other nursing representatives.

The medical camp, as part of 'Operation Sadbhavana' was received very well by the local populace.
