FATEHPUR, Mar 2 (UNI) Police today arrested a notorious art dealer who allegedly supplied illicit firear to criminals in Gujarat in the aftermath of the Godhra incident.
Police Superintendent Mukesh Babu Shukla told newspersons that Mubarak Hasan of Kharkhed area of the district was arrested in connection with a robbery case.
However, during interrogation he confessed to have supplied ar in Gujarat in the aftermath of Godhra.
Shukla claimed several criminal cases were also registered against Hasan in Gujarat at different police stations.
The accused's network was spread in Rajasthan, Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh, apart from Uttar Pradesh.
