DEHRADUN, Nov 5 (UNI) The Uttaranchal unit of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has strongly criticied the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Government at the Centre for raising the cooking gas price during the festive month.
The State party President Bhagat Singh Kosheyarie in a statement issued here today has said that it would adversely affect the economic of each and every family.
The hike on LPG, petrol and diesel will have a cascading effect on the economy.
Kosheyarie has also condemned the two major allies of the UPA Government namely the Left parties and the RJD for not taking any steps to help the millions of consumers in the country, the statement said.
