CEC to visit Bihar again

NEW DELHI, Aug 31 (UNI): In the run up to Bihar Assembly elections, Chief Election Commissioner B B Tandon will again visit few districts of the state next week to review the poll preparedness.

The CEC, along with other two Election Commissioners, had visited the state on August 24 and 25 and was not satisfied with the arrangements and preparations carried out by the state Government for the assembly elections likely to be held in october/november.

The EC is carrying out special excercise for preparing Election Identity Photo Cards (EIPC) and recently issued series of directions to ensure that the work may be completed ahead of announcement of election.
