KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU Feb 25: Minster for Roads and Buildings Gulchain Singh Charak today said that road projects involving 4500 crore are ready to be launched in the state to connect all un-connected habitations having population of 250 souls under Bharat Nirman Programme.
He was laying foundations of two link roads at Agar Check and Fatehpur in Suchetgarh.
These are 3.80 kms upgradation of old Agar Check to Kharkhola post with an estimated cost of Rs.
1.15 crore and 3.25 kms construction of road from Fathepur Salarian to Hanshu Check at an estimated cost of Rs.
80.80 lakh under NABARD.
Charak said that linking up the unconnected habitations of the state will benefit the farmer community to a great extent besides paving way for building public service infrastructure in these areas.
He said within two years period, all these road projects would be completed.
