"Chhari Mubarak" reaches Machail temple

KT NEWS SERVICE KISHTWAR, Aug 22: The land of Sapphire also known as name of Neelam valley witnessed a huge rush of pilgrims who reached along with "Chhari Mubarak" at this historic temple of Machail, situated at the height of 2952 meters above the sea level.

Covering 32 kms of foot journey through mountainous terrain of Machail, the "Chhari Mubarak" today reached at the holy site amidst recitation of hymns.

Pilgrims from Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh and Maharastra visited the Hindu shrine and Buddhist Gumpa, around 2 kms far from Sapphire Mines.

While speaking to news reporters, the pilgrims criticized the local administration and management of the Trust looks after yatra, for poor arrangements.
