Cong soft on militants: BJP

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, May 14: Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) today staged protest against the Congress led UPA government for its "soft approach" towards militants.

Led by BJP district president Rajesh Gupta and BJYM East Mandal president Sanjiv Gupta, the Yuva Morcha activists burnt the effigy of the Congress-led UPA government and raised slogans against it.

Addressing the protestors, they alleged that the recent militant attack in Samba and killing of a number of innocent civilians and army personnel was an indication that the Congress-led UPA at the Centre has no clear cut to check the militancy.

They asked the Congress-led UPA to formulate a clear cut policy to deal the militancy so that the people across the country feel secure.
