Deputations meet CM

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Feb 16 : Mattan is being developed as a major pilgrim and heritage tourist destination in south Kashmir and infrastructure facilities for the purpose are being upgraded.

This was stated by Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed while interacting with a deputation from Mattan here this evening.

He said that a comprehensive project in this regard has been formulated and work on it is apace.

A deputation of teachers from Anantnag, who are working on migrant lien vacancies, met Mufti Sayeed and demanded their regularisation.

He assured to look into it.

Interacting with another deputation from Qazigund, the Chief Minister said that their demands would be addressed on priority.

A large number of deputations and individuals from various parts of the state met the Chief Minister and apprised him of their problems and development needs.

He gave them a patient hearing and in some cases issued on-the-spot instructions to address these.
