KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Aug 14: The drivers of a truck and a bus were killed while sixteen passengers were injured four of them seriously in collision between Haryana bound bus and truck on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near Mansar Morh Samba last evening.
Half a dozen persons were injured in another road mishap in the Billawar last evening.
Police reports said that two drivers were killed and sixteen passengers injured in collision between the passenger bus (HR-69-5072) and truck (PB-132-9823) near Mansar Morh Samba last evening.
The deceased bus driver has been identified as Sat Pal, son of Ram Chand of Ghahang, Sonipat Haryana and truck driver as Harjeet Singh of Punjab.
All the sixteen injured passengers were shifted to the Samba hospital from where four seriously injured who were referred to the Government Medical College (GMC) hospital were identified as Sham Gupta, of Thandam, Buta Singh of Dishlidi, Satveer Singh of Sonipat and Swami Nath of Lajpat Nagar Delhi.
Doctors stated their condition to be improving.
Six persons were injured when the bus in which they were traveling in turned turtle at Baggan Morh Billawar yesterday.
All the injured were hospitalized.
