KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Feb 18: Evacuees Property Tenants Welfare Society has demanded abolishment of custodian department and scrapping of SRO 215.
As per a press release, a deputation of society led by Banarsi Dass Angral, president and patron Shanti Devi, MLA called on Chief Minister, Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Members expressed concern over the non-fulfilment of long pending demands regarding conferring of proprietory rights to EP tenants by abolishing the custodian department.
Members appealed the chief minister to mitigate their problems being faced by for last 55 years and stop harassment at the hands of Custodian department.
