Family allege murder in J&K Bank Manager's death

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, July 12: Suspecting foul play, the family members of the deceased Bank Manager of Jammu & Kashmir Bank who was found hanging under suspicious circumstances at his residence in Anand Nagar area of Talab Tillo under the jurisdiction of Police Post Pouni Chak yesterday afternoon, alleged that he has been murdered by some unidentified persons.

Randhir- son of the deceased Manager Rajinder Talwar, 55, son of Hari Krishan Talwar of Anand Nagar Bohri was of the opinion that his father could not commit suicide.

"He was very bold man and could not even think of committing suicide", he said, adding that he has been murdered as he was alone in the house.

He urged police to investigate the murder angle in the case.

Police yesterday said that J&K Bank Manager was noticed hanging with the hook of ceiling fan at his residence by his servant who further informed police.

He was alone at his house as his wife and children were at Pathankot.

He was putting up with his domestic help from last couple of days.

Police has, however, initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPc.

Concerned officer said that police is investigating all angles in the case and the real picture will come out in postmortem report the details of which are awaited.
