KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Mar 2: Though state government chartered flights had come to en end yesterday itself yet Indian Airlines (IA) apart from its one routine flight operated an additional flight to Srinagar airlifting at least 291 passengers.
Private airliner- Jet Airways operated one routine flight to valley.
When contacted IA Station Manager Sanjeev Misri said, "though government chartered flights had come to an end yesterday itself but we operated an additional flight apart from one routine flight airlifting at least 291 passengers to valley".
Private airliner-Jet Airways did not operate any additional flight to valley and adhered to its routine schedule operating flight numbr 603 and 605 that shuttled between Delhi-Srinagar-Jammu-Delhi and Delhi-Jammu-Srinagar-Delhi respectively.
