KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Nov 8: The Jammu and Kashmir Tug-of- War Association has selected its two teams in different weight groups for participation in the 11th Sub-Junior & 22nd Junior Mens National Tug of War Championship scheduled from 10th -14th November, 2009 at Agra in Uttar Pradesh.
The selected teams are in the weight groups of 520 KG, 480 KG & 440 KG.
Earlier, a five day camp was organized at A.S.N.
Sec School , Channi Himmat, Jammu where in 45 students took part in this camp.
Out of them 18 students were selected for the above said Championship.
The team: Parveen, Ghari Lal, Anil Kumar, Sulinder Singh, Ishfaq, Mohd.
Ikhlaq, Haq Nawaz, Mukhtar Ahmed, Sunil, Rakesh Kumar, Sanjay Kumar, Imran Khan, Anil Kumar Jony, Mohd.
Usman, Tazeem Ahmed, Khalid Ahmad & Kamal Deep Singh & Ravinder are accompanying as coach.
Naresh Verma Abhinandan as managers of the team.
On the occasion the president of the association Hardeep Singh Anand distributed Kits among the players before departure, which were sponsored by Hotel Asia Jammu Tawi & Bharat Small Arms Pvt.
