KT NEWS SERVICE DODA, Feb 16: The chairman of JKLF Yasin Malik has said that the Kashmir issue is not a border dispute between India and Pakistan, but it is an issue which is linked with the future of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
He made these remarks while addressing people at Doda.
"Both India and Pakistan should remember that the Kashmir issue cannot be solved through bilateral talks, but it can be solved only with the active participation of the Kashmiri people" added Yasin.
He added that the bilateral talks would be meaningful unless and until the Kashmiri people are not involved in the dialogue process.
The chairman of JKLF added that we are not against the talks between India and Pakistan, but both these countries should remember that the slogan of freedom is the ultimate slogan of the people living in the entire state of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the active participation of the people in the signature campaign launched by the party is an indicator in this regard.
Yasin claimed that more than one million people actively participated in the signature campaign and more and more people are adding to the campaign.
The chairman of JKLF was accompanied by various other leaders.
