KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, June 3 : A record number of 355 students of KC Public School attended adventure camp at Sanasar near Patnitop in different groups from May 15 to June 2 this year.
The camp was organised by Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports, J&K in a joint venture with Ministry of Defence and Department of Tourism.
The objective of the adventure activities was to create and foster amongst the youth a spirit of risk taking, decision making, cooperative team work, capacity of ready and vital response to challenging situations and endurance.
The students participated in various adventure activities like rock-climbing, rappelling, zip-wire and camping in open by living in tents during the camp.
Jorawar Singh, Principal of KC Public School congratulated all the particpants who have completed this adventure course successfully in a special assembly organised in the school to felicitate these students.
