KT NEWS SERVICE KATHUA, Jan 31: A minor girl has been allegedly 'kidnapped' by a youth of same locality in Kathua today.
According to the reports, a 16 year old girl was allegedly 'kidnapped;' by the youth of same locality since yesterday.
As per the complaing lodged by Nika Ram, resident of ward number 4 Kathua, his daughter has been abducted by Raju, 20 son of Bharam Dutt of ward number 4, Kathua since yesterday.
Police has registered a case in this connection and started investigations.
The girl was not recovered till late tonight.
Chaman hails decision on Jammu-Udhampur rail link KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jan 31: Union Minister of State for Defence, Prof Chaman Lal Gupta has expressed his happiness over railway minister Nitish Kumar's decision to fix March 25 as date of passenger traffic on the railway line between Jammu-Udhampur and described the completion of this railway track between Jammu and Udhampur as another big achievement of the NDA government led by Atal Behari Vajpayee.
He said that this project was hanging for the past over 20 years.
With with completion of this rail link, the time is not very far off when this rail link would be extended upto Katra Vaishno Devi and onward.
