KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, June 20: Police claimed to have arrested one more miscreant involved in a murder of a shopkeeper in Phinder area of Bishnah.
He has been identified as Ghara Ram, son of Angrez Lal of Phinder.
Police said that he was hiding in the area after committing the crime.
Acting on specific information, police conducted raid and arrested the fourth accused.
As reported police have arrested three miscreants including the main accused involved in a murder of a youth in Phinder area of Bishnah on Wednesday night.
Police said Koushal Kumar, 26, son of Ram Piyara Batwal of Phinder Tehsil RS Pura, running a Kiryana Shop at Phinder, was shot dead by Anchal son of Swam Lal and his other associates in his house at about 8.30 PM.
A case FIR number 90 of 2008 under section 302, 452 and 109 RPC and 3/25/30 Arms Act was registered at Police Station Bishnah.
Police managed to arrest the main accused identified as Anchal, his brother Shina and their father Swam Lal from different hideouts in RS Pura and Jammu.
The weapon of offence was recovered.
The remaining accused identified as Lilu, son of Swaran Lal, Monu son of Ghari and Vicky son of Prem Lal all residents of Phinder were still absconding.
