Certain facts just cants be ignored unless one is thick-skinned or a downright idiot.
One such actuality that should be worrying us is that of our uncontrolled populationboom.
We crossed 100-crore mark of citizens inhabiting the country several months ago.
And soon enough we would be 101 crores and so on.
With each addition of a human being, we are obliged to provide food and shelter to him/her-the most basic needs.
Further as the infant grows into a child and then a man, we are expected to provide schooling and employment at the appropriate time too.
Where are all these additional facilities to come from when we have tens of thousands of malnourished, poverty-stricken illiterate persons already among us? One wonders: Is anyone in the government is really worried on this score? It is hard to answer this question.
