KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jan 7: All Jammu and Kashmir Excise & Commercial Taxes Class 4th ousted Government Employees Association Srinagar/ Jammu today reiterated its demand for re-absorption and regularization of ousted employees who served for 9-12 years.
This demand was made in a press conference here today.
It is pertinent to mention here that Excise department had removed these employees on February 10, 2007.
Association pointed out that those who were removed were mostly overage and had dependent families to feed.
State president of association, Adil Rashid Khan told media persons that the Association welcomed the Omar Abdullah Sahib as Chief Minister of J&K and hoped that he would address the pending problems.
He said that they earlier approached the previous government with series of memorandums, yet the case remained unsolved despite being highlighted in the Assembly
