LUCKNOW, Jun 20 (UNI) Altogether 2,700 petrol pumps in Uttar Pradesh remained closed today to press for uniform petroleum pricing policy, among other demands.
The strike, called by the Federation of All India Petroleum Traders and the Uttar Pradesh Petroleum Dealers Association, was universal with none of the petrol pumps in the state functioning since morning.
A press release of the association said that the dealers would continue to agitate till the demands including increase of commission was met by the Centre.
