KT NEWS SERVICE SRINAGAR, Feb 9: Several separatist and mainstream parties have strongly condemned the killing of five innocent civilians allegedly by army at Arigam, Bandipora.
Hurriet Conference (G) while condemning the Bandipora incident said on one side the central government is holding negotiations and on the other the killings of people continue unabated.
A spokesman of the Hurriet termed the moderate leaders' talks with centre as an eyewash.
He said the central government has given a free hand to the security forces to kill the people after Eid.
He said time has proved that New Delhi is insincere in its approach and deeds.
Jammu and Kashmir Liberation Front has also condemned the incident at Bandipora and the killing of five innocent people has exposed the real intentions of New Delhi.
A spokesman of the organization said that the incident has once again proved that the policy of healing touch is a hoax.
The spokesman appealed to the international human rights watch dogs to take cognizance of the incidents in Kashmir and reprimand New Delhi so that they put an end to the human rights abuses.
Dukhtaran-e-Milat has also voiced serious protest again the killing of the innocent people in Bandipora.
A spokeswoman of the outfit said that Hurriet Conference (A) has entered into a secret deal with New Delhi and with the result the security forces have stepped up their ante in Kashmir.
National Conference (NC) has strongly reacted to the killing of five civilians and said the state administration has failed to provide security to the people in Jammu and Kashmir.
The NC president Omar Abdullah has demanded high level probe into the killings.
He said the people are feeling insecure in the PDP rule.
Omar said the bloodshed violence and massacres have become routine in the Mufti Sayeed's rule.
