KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, May 2: Members of Food and Allied Workers Union J&K demanded facilities at par with the FCI workers.
This demand was raised before the MP, Madan Lal Sharma by the deputation of the Union led by its president, Bishan Dass.
Other demands of the deputation included release of payment as per price index from 1997, release of pending payment on account of arrears due from 1997, implementation of IT scheme as per act and covering of left out workers of the department under minimum guarantee who have been serving the department for the last twenty years.
Sharma assured the deputation that their demands will be taken up with the concerned authorities and Chief Minister, Ghulam Nabi Azad for the early redressal.
