KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Jun 18: Eleven principals of degree colleges have been transferred following the promotion of three selection grade lecturers to the post of principal of Degree college.
Asha Sharma will be the new principal of Government College for Women, Gandhinagar, Jammu while Indira Sharma has been posted as principal MAM College Jammu.
Government order no 142 - HE of 2004 dated June 15, 2004 was issued in this regard as per the recommendations by the Departmental Promotion Committee/ Public Service Commission.
S C Gupta and Pushp Kali Gupta senior grade lecturers in Chemistry and Botany respectively in Government College for Women, Parade and Kuber Singh, senior grade lecturer in Chemistry GGM Science College, Jammu have been promoted to the post of principal of degree college in the pay scale of Rs 16, 400 - 22,400.
Consequent upon their promotions, adjustments and transfers have been effected in nine degree colleges of the state.
S C Gupta has been posted as principal Government Degree College Kishtwar replacing M K Zutshi who has been transferred and posted as principal Government Degree College Kathua vice R L Sharma who has been transferred and sent on deputation to Board of School Education.
Asha Sharma (principal) has been recalled from deputation and posted as principal Government College for Women Gandhinagar, Jammu against the available post after the retirement of Prof Gurdeep Kour.
Kuber Singh has been posted as principal Government Degree College, Pulwama.
He replaces Abdul Rashid Bhat who has been transferred and posted as principal Government Degree College Leh vice Dorjey Tsewang.
Tsewang has been transferred and posted as principal Women College, Udhampur.
Indira Sharma principal Women College Udhampur has been transferred and posted as principal MAM College, Jammu against the available post.
Pushp Kali Gupta has been sent on deputation to Board of School Education to function as Project Coordinator, Population Education Cell.
M R D Kundangar, principal awaiting order of adjustment has been posted as principal, Government Degree College Tral vice M S Kawoosa who has been transferred and posted as principal, Government Degree College, Ganderbal against the available post.
