KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Oct 30: Jyesh Singh won cadet boys and Sub Junior boys titles.
Shzar also took , junior and sub junior girls trophies of the Jammu District Table Tennis championship that was concluded at Indoor Sports Complex, MA Stadium here today.
Jyesh Singh got the cadet boys trophy by defeating Sunmeet Jamwal by 11-4, 13-11, 11-9.
In Sub Junior boys finals, Jyesh thrashed Shorya Sharma by 6-11, 11-8, 11-9, 11-6.
In cadet girls final, Shzar routed Lavanaya Sharma by 11-4, 11-6, 11-5.
However, in sub junior girls finals, Shzar, again outplayed Lavanya Sharma by 11-6, 11-8, 11-9.
In junior boys finals, Arjun Kohli annexed Jyesh Singh by 11-5, 11-8, 11-0.
Arjun Kohli also bagged the men singles title, outplaying Sandeep by 11-5, 11-6, 11-5, 11-3.
Deepinder Kour become the Junior girls champions by outplaying Shzar in the final match.
The score was 8-11, 11-7, 11-9, 11-9.
Svera Jamwal won the women championship by defeating state champion Chandpreet Kour with set score 9-11, 11-2, 7-11, 11-7, 11-7.
Digpal Singh took the veteran singles trophy by beating Ashwani Sharma with set score 9-11, 11-8, 8-11, 11-9 and 14-12.
Ravinder Gupta, Secretary, State Sports Council was the chief guest on the occasion and distributed prizes among the winners and runners-up players of the different categories of the tournament.
