Give special attention to road, power RANCHI, Feb 2(UNI) Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee has directed Jharkhand chief minister Arjun Munda to give special attention to the road development and power sector in the state.
The prime minister, who had a meeting with the chief minister during his visit here yesterday at Raj Bhavan, had assured him of central assistance to implement the projects for the two sectors.
Vajpayee had also asked Munda to look into the ongoing road network expansion programme in the state.
Informed sources said Munda has apprised the prime minister about the state goverment's efforts in this direction.
Munda, who was accompained by the council of ministers and MLAs, also had a one to one meeting with the prime minister.
