By Brij Bhardwaj NDA crosses another milestone The Assembly election results from three States, including important Bihar, Orissa and Haryana, are expected to be announced on the eve of the Budget session of Parliament and thus provide the much-needed boost to the ruling National Democratic Alliance as all indications are that they will sweep the poll leaving their main rival, the Congress, very much behind in the race.

The Congress prospects are poor except in Orissa where it has ruled for a long time.

But the misrule, in-fighting and inept handling of the State affairs of the party by the headquarters has left little doubt that it is heading for a major reverse.
