KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Sep 16: A woman allegedly committed suicide while three persons made abortive bids on their lives by consuming poisonous substance at their respective residence today.
Police reports said that a woman committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance at her residence today.
The deceased has been identified as Surjeet Kour, wife of Yash Paul of Vijaypur.
Police said that she consumed poison and expired later.
The body after autopsy was handed over to the family members for last rites.
Three persons made abortive bids on their lives by consuming poisonous substance at their respective residence since late night.
They were identified as Rimpy, wife of Mohinder Singh of Rathana, Rajni Devi wife of Ravi Kumar of Sohal Akhnoor and Amrik Gupta son of Sat Paul Gupta of Rehari Colony.
They were admitted to the GMC hospital for treatment.

Police said that one motor cycle bearing registration number 4626-JK02AB blue colour with chassis number 2760 and engine number 03335 belonging to Jasbir Singh, son of Maan Singh of Residency road has been stolen from GGM Science College Jammu.
A motor cycle bearing registration number 1997-JK02B Passion Plus has been recovered by Domana Police.
