KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Aug 17: Government Polytechnic for Women Jammu celebrated Independence Day on 16th August, 2007 in the auditorium.
Various cultural activities were presented by students including patriotic songs and speeches of various students.
All the faculty, staff and students including new comers were present on the occasion.
Prominent personalities including Er K.R Sharma, Principal of the Government Polytechic Bikram Chowk Jammu.

Er Neetu Maini HOD Electronic& Communication, Neelanjana Manwati I/C Computers, M.L Sharma I/C MOP, s Bhawan Arora I/C MLT/NSS, Er Naresh Gupta and Er Suket Gupta Project Officer and APO Community Polytechnic among others.
On the occasion, Principal Er N.H Malik pledged to follow the footsteps of freedom fighters to achieve the best in life.
Further he stressed upon to work hard to complete at the national and global level and bring laurels for the institute and the state.
