KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Dec 15: Annual Drama Festival-2007, commenced here today with the performance of Solution-X, a Hindi play presented by Art Theatre under the direction of Anil Warikoo.
In the biggest ever theatre event, comprising of around 17 plays has been organized by the Academy of Art, Culture and Languages to commemorate its golden jubilee celebrations.
Minister of State for Youth Services and Sports, Babu Singh was the Chief Guest, in the inaugural ceremony of the drama festival.
Babu Singh, in his ceremonial speech congratulated Dr.
Rafeeq Masoodi, Secretary J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages for the record District Drama Festival.
He also appreciated the Art Theatre director Anil Warikoo and the team of the play Solution-X.
Earlier welcome address was delivered by TR Sharma, Special Secretary, Cultural Academy.
