MUMBAI, Feb 15 (UNI): Mumbai police have arrested a suspected member of underworld fugitive Dawood Ibrahim's gang in connection with extortion cases here.
Official Sources said Salim Sonda, who had managed to give a slip to the police during the wedding of Dawood's nephew Danesh a couple of months ago, was arrested in the city last night.
According to sources, Sonda was wanted in six extortion cases and maintaining close contacts with some of Dawood's relatives in the city.
