Paras guides TS Public School to facile win in inaugural tie KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, Sept 6: TS Public School outplayed Delhi Public School in the opening tie of the Inter School Under-16 Cricket tournament, began at GGM Science College Ground here today.
The tournament is hosted by organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA), Jammu wing to select team for national level competition.
Batting first, TS Public School made 197 runs for the loss of five wickets in allotted 30 overs match.
Paras Sharma played superb knock of 62 off 66 balls with the help of three boundaries to the fence.
Sidharth Magotra scored 50 off 71 balls in which he hits three fours.
Rohan Koul and Soumay Jain added 33 and 23 runs respectively.
For Delhi Public School, Akhileaswar took two wickets for 38 runs.
Nouman and Altmash shared one wicket each.
In reply, Delhi Public School team were bundled out on 59 runs in just 16.2 overs and lost the match by 138 runs.
Shourya who scored 30 was the highest scorer of team.
Manik added 15 runs.
Vishal of TS Public School was the most successful bowler with four wickets in 4.2 overs.
Soumay Jain got three wickets for 16.
Paras Sharma, too remained economical and his one wicket could cost 9 runs TS Public School won the match by 138 runs.
