NEW DELHI, Dec 7 (UNI) The left partes remain firm in their opposition of the Prevention Of Terrorism Ordinance (POTO), in and outside parliament.
Reacting to the amendments to the POTO, approved yesterday by the Union cabinet, parliamentary leader of the CPI(M) Somnath Chatterjee said there was no question of suporting the Draconian ordinance.
He added that the change was cosmetic and the main objectives of the ordinance remained intact.
