PATIALA, Feb 20 (Agencies) : Former Pakistan opener Saeed Anwar believes that the hosts would be at a "little disadvantage" as they would be under lot of pressure against the touring Indian team in the forthcoming cricket series.
"I think it is a little disadvantage for Pakistan that they will be playing a home series as they will be under lot more pressure and the expectations from them will be higher," Anwar said here.
The world record holder for the higest score in One-Day internationals was in town to play a festival match between Punjab Chief Minister's XI and Pakistan Invitation XI, which the Indian side won.
Anwar, who played 55 Test and score 4052 runs, was all praise for the Indian batting line-up but felt that their bowling was not upto the mark.
"I think all players are playing equally good.
Laxman is as good as Sachin and Sourav is playing well while Rahul has scored lot of runs.
"I have always believed that their batting has been very good, though they lack quality fast bowlers.
However, a fit Zaheer (Khan) and a fit (Ashish) Nehra can make the difference." The left-hand batsman said that his team's batting would revolve around skipper Inzamam-ul-Haq and Yousuf Youhana but added that players like Yasser Hamid, Imran Farhad and Taufiq Umar had the potential to play at the big stage.
"We have high expectations from them.
They are very good players, all they need is some experience," he said.
