KT NEWS SERVICE KATRA, Jan 12: Today, All Parties Action Committee (APAC) has demanded opening of a college in Katra.
As per a press release, in a meeting wherein persons from various political parties and social organizations gathered under the leadership of ex-MLA Bansi Lal Kohistani, participants criticized the criteria for opening of eight degree colleges and added that even though there is a full-fledged established Shri Mata Devi Vaishno University but not even a single college.
Those who were present on the occasion included president Rakesh Wazir, Shiv Kumar Sharma, Sardari Lal Dubey, Ajay Singh Kotwal, Kuldeep Kesar, R S Manhas and Madan Gopal.
