Seat-sharing with AIADMK will be amicable: BJP

CHENNAI, Feb 17 (UNI) BJP national secretary L Ganesan today exuded confidence that the seat-sharing process with its ally, the AIADMK, for the coming Lok Sabha polls would be completed amicably.

Talking to newspersons here, he said reports have come from New Delhi that the number of seats and the allocation of constituencies between the two parties would be completed soon.

"I believe the process will be completed without any hitch," he added.

Criticising the Congress for highlighting the delay in the seat-sharing process between the BJP and the AIADMK as an attempt to divert the attention of the people, the BJP leader countered that "everybody is aware of the dissatisfaction of the Congressmen over the allocation of the Nagercoil seat to CPI(M) and the Pondicherry seat to PMK.

People are seeing what is happening in Nagercoil and Pondicherry." Ganesan hit out at the Congress' criticism of the BJP's 'feel good factor' and 'India shining' slogans.

"What the Congress could not achieve in 50 years of its rule, the BJP could do in five years.

Even the common man in the villages is aware of this," he said, adding this was what the party had been advertising in the media.

"Mr Vasan himself knows this truth.

But he is hiding it," he said, criticising the TNCC president.
