Work crippled due to Rly official's stir

KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, July 12: The normal work at Jammu Railway Station remains paralyzed for an hour in the morning when the Railway employees went on lightning strike over the issue of shifting of parking far away from the Railway Station.

The employees also alleged that the cops beat up one of the Railway employee identified as Dinesh Sehgal at Railway Station near the old parking area.

The ticket booking besides the Reservation work was completely paralyzed for an hour from 8 AM to 9AM resulting in harassment to the railway passengers.

The protesting employees were staged noisy protest over shifting of the parking.

The situation was brought under control after the intervention of DRM of Ferozpur division who assured staff parking near the Railway Station.
