KT NEWS SERVICE JAMMU, May 2: The ex-servicemen of Kishan Pur, Manwal and Kathar have demanded exemption of VAT on CSD items.
They projected their demand during a meeting with Zila Sainik Welfare Officer Lt.
R L Gangal today.
Addressing the gathering Gangal stressed the widows and other participants to take benefits of central schemes and advised them to complete all the formalities for to take benefits of these schemes sponsored projects.
The participants' highlights other demands included completion of formalities of becoming the member of CHS, separate recruitment rally for the wards of ex-serviceman and widows.
Col Gangal assured them that their demands would be taken up with concerned authority.
Later issue of identity cards, medical cards, CSD cards, completion of application for financial assistance and other records formalities will done.
The gathering appreciating the visit and work carried at their village by the team of Zila Sainik Welfare Office.
